QTK ANIME has been in business since 2003.  Writer and artist Keita Browne created the
company along with her sister Quiana and close friend Tiffany.    The idea stemmed from
their love of Anime and Manga.  After attending their first convention in Rosemont, IL in
April 1998, they were determined that they would leave their mark in the Anime and Manga
industry.  From there, Quiana, Tiffany, and Keita decided to take some initiative and start
up their own Manga publishing company.  Together they used the first letters of their names
to create a trendy name for the company, Q.T.K. ANIME (Quiana, Tiffany, and Keita).

Name:  Keita Browne

Title:    President

Bio:  Keita is the youngest of two girls.  She began drawing at the age of 5 mimicking whatever she saw.  As her techniques
began to improve, her mother placed her in art school at the age of eight. After four months Keita discovered that the
school was taking her in a different direction than she wanted to go with her art.  Keita put her art aside and focused on her
other fine art skills such as music and dance.  It wasn't until high school where she rediscovered her love of drawing.  She
joined the high school art club with her sister and close friend Tiffany.  There the three girls formed a close bond and
friendship that would soon become the stepping stone of QTK ANIME.  Keita also discovered that she had a talent for
writing.  She began writing and drawing the images and characters of her stories.  In college she began refining her writing
and art skills.  During college Keita decided to form QTK ANIME and start publishing stories that she had written.  In 2004,
Keita published her first comic called Dormitory based on her experiences in college.  The comic didn't do very well because
of its poor art quality.  After her first setback, she continued to study Japanese art and improve her skills.  Although she
didn't minor in art, she graduated from college in 2005 with a degree in Film/Video, and a concentration in screenwriting.
One year after graduation Keita began to seriously focus on the company and how to improve it.  She knew that in order to
improve the company, she must stop doing everything herself and get help.  She started searching for manga artist to
collaborate with and join the company. In 2006, Keita would meet Yishan Li from the UK.  Together they formed a
friendship and published their comic called The Guardians.  The comic did well and brought more popularity to the already
rising star Yishan Li.  Currently Keita continues to write stories and refine her artwork in hopes to write and draw a comic
of her own that people will enjoy.
